Yoga & Movement


Melanie Johl offers private, semi-private, and group yoga sessions throughout the year. All sessions are individually tailored to help students no matter where they are on their fitness journey, and range from beginner to advanced Vinyasa. Staying true to the ancient traditions of yoga, Melanie focuses on creating positive experiences in motion, promoting self care and awareness. Sessions may also include Pilates mat work, physical therapy–based exercises, rehabilitative or restorative poses, as well as breathing practice or Pranayama. 

BreathWork


Melanie has been teaching Pranayama, or yogic breathing techniques, for over two decades, privately and in group classes. When the Covid-19 pandemic first locked down NYC and the world, she created a new way of teaching breathwork to help people stay calm during these challenging times, and help keep their respiratory and immune systems strong. These sessions combine breathing exercises from the yoga tradition with other techniques learned over more than two decades of experience, including practices from Indigenous master teachers & healers.  

Spiritual Coaching


Melanie skillfully weaves together wisdom from the many traditions she has studied for over  two decades now. Filtering it into  practical guidance, she bridges the seen and unseen to reveal the interconnections of body, mind, and spirit. As an intuitive guide or counselor, her work is centered on cultivating each person’s innate healing power and exploring the root causes of limiting patterns and imbalances. Her intuitive insights, laser-pointed guidance, and practical tools offer a cohesive framework for connecting our bodies “subtle language” with emotion, movement and breath work. 

Energy Healing
